Stepping into ATS for the first time? You have the most valuable perspective of all: the new parent experience.
The PTA is recruiting a few "At-Large" Board Members from our Kindergarten Families. This is an ideal way to:
-
Learn the Ropes: Get an insider's view on how ATS works and what the PTA does.
-
Share Your Perspective: Tell us what's confusing, what's missing, or what you love most.
-
Time Commitment: It's a low-pressure role! It primarily involves attending our monthly board meetings and lending a hand on a few projects.
You don't need PTA experience—you just need enthusiasm to support the ATS community and a fresh perspective!
Please reach out to Abbas Ravjani if you're interested.

The PTA is helping to set up a Capital Investments Committee. This will be a mix of ATS staff and parents that want to spend time thinking about how we can best use PTA funds to make lasting capital improvements
The PTA is helping to set up a Capital Investments Committee. This will be a mix of ATS staff and parents that want to spend time thinking about how we can best use PTA funds to make lasting capital improvements
The time commitment will be a few hours over the course of the next 3-4 months. Volunteers will work with Principal Podbelski and others in helping to brainstorm priorities and make recommendations to the PTA Board on projects to fund. Reach out to Abbas Ravjani if interested.

ATS parents have created a parent-run email listserv on the Groups.io platform to share important information with each other and engage in any conversation related to ATS. This is different from the current ATS PTA email blasts that come directly from the PTA. The PTA does not manage this listserv, but it does monitor them. Click the image above or visit https://ats-parents.groups.io/g/ATS to request to join.

Submissions are required for students in grades 3-5 and encouraged for grades K-2. Entries this year will be due on Wednesday, November 12. Entry forms will be coming home in upcoming Friday folders with guidance on in-person or virtual submission. (All types of art - including sculptures and paintings - can be submitted electronically by taking photos.)
